If you’re in the real estate business long enough and do a good job for your clients, they’ll become repeat customers and use you again to buy and/or sell. They’ll also refer you to family and friends.  

That’s what happened with Stephen and Melissa. I met Melissa’s mom when she  dropped by an open house I was doing. Initially, I thought she was interested in that  house. However, she had seen my name around and came specifically to see me  about purchasing an investment property, one of the semi bungalows in South Ajax that  had basement apartments with separate entrances. She and her husband ended up  buying one and were so pleased with my service that they referred me to a couple  friends, one who bought a home for their family and the other who sold one of her  investment properties. 

In the ensuing years they called me to sell the investment property and also referred  their daughter and her husband to me. That would be Melissa and Stephen. One of the  agents on my team at the time, Janette, helped them purchase a nice, raised bungalow  in Bowmanville. Fast forward about 6 years and I received an email from Melissa. They  want to upsize and would like to schedule a meeting. The home was nice when they  bought it but boy, did they do a great job updating and renovating. I said they shouldn’t  have any problem selling, even in the down market we were in at the time. They  wanted to move sooner rather than later but emphasized that they “didn’t want to settle”.  

By this time, Janette wasn’t in the business anymore and I assigned Mike Koson to help  them find the “perfect house”. As you can see below, Mike was up to the task. I train all  the agents on my team to be patient, to not be pushy, to not only point out the positive  features of a home, but also any negatives, and to do a comprehensive comparative  market analysis of the property our clients are interested in, so they have all the facts  before they submit an offer. In a nutshell, to leave no stone unturned. As you will see  below, it took almost a year, but they were thrilled with the house Mike got them and  how I was able to sell their home quickly and for top dollar, which is always a concern  when the buyer becomes a seller and is worried about owning two homes. It didn’t hurt that the home showed so well and that Ron, our photographer for close to 20 years, did  an outstanding job with the virtual tour and photos. 

Anyway, like I stated at the beginning, I’ve been in the business a long time - Stephen  and Melissa are the perfect example of what I meant when I say that if you do a great  job for your clients, it will result in multiples of repeat and referral business. The Brian  Kondo Real Estate Team isn’t in the business of just getting a quick sale. We want to  make sure our clients are so happy with the service we provide them that they will feel
my team is second to none!

 



We used Brian and his team to help us find our dream home.

Although the search took almost a year, Mike found us the perfect house and since it was a multiple offer, we took the leap and bought it firm.

Now the stress started.  However, Brian was able to sell our house for top dollar in just a couple weeks.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received and especially, our dream home!
