Pam initially reached out to me by replying to an offer to receive a hotlist of homes for sale. That entails asking the buyer specific questions to determine his/her exact search criteria, then imputting that info into our custom Homehunter program so every night they will receive all new MLS listings that match their criteria either sent to their inbox or mailed to them.
After a few days of playing telephone tag, Pam had me paged to call her. She had let her husband know about the hotlist offer and who was offering it. When she mentioned my name, her husband Jeff said he knew me. Once she said her last name, I knew exactly who Jeff was. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and went to the same public and high school. Not only that, but Jeff and I were playing against each other in a Slo-Pitch softball league!
Now, some people say it’s difficult to work with agents who are family or friends. Some agents say the same thing. However, I’ve never felt that way. I enjoy working with family, friends, and acquaintances. By knowing me already, they should know my work ethic and that I’ll be totally honest with them.
They ended up purchasing a property that wasn’t even listed on the market for sale but used me to sell their Pickering home. As you can see below, they were happy with my Home Selling System; from the staging to the professional photography to the market updates I provided them to the showings feedback my customer service team gave them and finally, to the offer negotiations.
