Santa Claus Parade - Pickering

Join the City of Pickering and the Kinsmen & Kinette Club in celebrating the highly anticipated return of the Santa Claus Parade. With extravagant floats from Pickering businesses and community groups, marching bands, and Santa Claus himself, the Santa Claus Parade is the spectacle to kick off everyone’s holiday season. The Parade will begin at Dixie and Glenanna and end in Pickering’s City Centre.

Santa's Spectacle of Lights - Ajax

Ajax residents and visitors are invited to come out and welcome Santa when he arrives in town for Santa's Spectacle of Lights. The parade begins at the intersection of Bayly Street and Mackenzie Avenue, proceeding east along Bayly and then north on Harwood Avenue South concluding at Ajax Town Hall. 

Immediately following the parade will be a special tree lighting ceremony and after party at Town Hall (65 Harwood Avenue South) and Ajax Main Library.

The Original Santa Claus Parade returns to the streets of Toronto on Sunday, November 24th
 

We are excited to share that we will be back on the streets of Toronto in 2024! Join us on Sunday, November 24th for the return of amazing floats, bands, marchers, the Celebrity Clowns and of course, Mrs. Claus and Santa! We can’t wait to celebrate the return of The Original Santa Claus Parade with all of you!

Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

Every year we bring hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Toronto, and millions more watching at home, together to celebrate this joyous season. We’ve been doing so uninterrupted for 120 years, and that’s exactly what we will be doing again this year, bringing Santa’s magic to town.

This year's 120th Santa Claus Parade will hit the streets of Toronto on  Sunday Nov 24th at 12:30, and will be streamed LIVE and on demand on YouTube for the very first time. Be sure to subscribe to our channel and watch on your favourite YouTube supported device.

A $5 entry fee will apply and can be purchased ahead of time or at the door. To ensure the safety of our visitors and the protection of the museum, there may be a line up to get into the market as we have to limit the amount guests in the spaces to give the best shopping experience.
